hey guys.
i am doing masters in civil engineering ,plan to graduate this year.have a nice gpa .how's the job prospect this year? do i need to apply for phd too? or only focus on getting jobs? appreciate your help.

phd is good if you really want to go the academia and be a faculty. most of the people from the civil go for the industrial section. so basically it depends on what you like to do. doing phd if you don't want to go to industrial does not match up.
