A friend of mine got a decent job offer (data analysis) in a hospital , but he just found out that Any experiences or leads will be highly appreciated.

Never heard of such test.smokers lose precious time going 5-10 mins out from a non smoking facility...thus employer prefer non smokers....true story.

you will get nicotine in other things as well and not only cigarette. After you get hired you are not supposed to smoke in and around the campus where your office resides. There will be a little bit of nicotine in your blood anyways.

Well even if u lie taking, you can't on insurance and if they do medical, and if they took it as moral issue of lying to get job, then you might be in trouble. May be best bet is to say you quit 2-3 month back...and finally quit it anyway.

Thank you all for your inputs. May the idea to say that he has not smoked since 2-3 months is the best. Thanks again.
