I am going to apply GC for my wife and kid who are currently in F-2 status. Can I submit the whole GC application packet at once (I-130, I-485, I-864, I-765, and I-131)? Or Should I go with I-130 first and apply rest after I-130 approval? I am asking because I read somewhere that in case I-130 is not approved, I-485 fee won't be refunded. So, I am still confused although I got all forms filled out with supporting documents.

Also, for medical report, my wife do not have any immunization record. So, what can we do in this case? Can I take a medical examination before I submit I-130?

Correct, if i130 is not approved, the fee for other applications will not be refunded. The filing fees are non refundable.

you can apply i130 and rest of the other applications concurrently only if you r a US citizen. If u r a GC holder, you can apply i130 only and not others since visa number is not available for spouse and kids of GC holder.

Medical examination can be done anytime. Medical certificate by civil surgeon is valid for 1 year from the signed date to apply for i485 and doesn't depend on i130. u can plan accordingly.

I appreciate your input. It means I can file all forms at once since I am citizen. But I did not get what that visa number means. Where do I find this number? Is it the visa number in passport?

Visa number is a fixed number of immigrant visas of certain category per year, a reference for USCIS to whether an potential immigrant can apply for i485 (GC) at present time or not. As a US citizen, u don't have to worry abt that since unlimited visa numbers are available for US citizens' spouse n kids to apply for i485.
