There is a great rumor that H1B quota of this year is going to be occupied pretty soon i.e. within 15th of April. How far is it authentic? Your responses will be appreciated.

It is under "grapevine" that H1B quota for 2007 will exhaust very soon. Some are even speculating that it will be over by 2nd of April. If this happens, they will draw the lottery to pick H1B candidate. Also, if you are planning in applying for one, try filing Premium Processing with overnight delivery.

Pale Dai ,based on past experience,I would say 65000 H1b quote will be saturated by end of April this month and 20000 Advance degree quota may be availbale until end of June. It is just a prediction.You can not verify authenticity of this kind of thing in advance.

Total Cap: 65,000 Reserved for Chile and Singapore under Free Trade Agreements: 6,800 Remaining cap for the rest: 58,200. Indians: Word out there is they take over 40,000 Personally in my opinion, Congress should get rid of H1-B program. 'Exploitation & Prostituting' is the name of the game. Hopefully one day, it's green card direct for qualified folks.
