Dear All,

I am a graduate student here in the states and I have 50% scholarship for my graduate studies. I need little more money for the next semester. How can I get money from my parents in order to pay for next semester?

If you were in this similar situation or know what should be done next for me to get educational money from Nepal, I would really appreciate your help.

Money order in the name of your school mailed to you

The easierst is wire transfer, which can be done in Minutes
Or you can go to a local bank in Nepal with NRB's permission letter and make a money order in the name of your school.
Or you can get money though people of Hundi. For example, if you have a relative here who has account in nepal and the US, you parents can deposit money in their account and they can give you the money here.

There might be other options too which i am unaware of.

Jai_Nepal, Do I need a school letter or sth that needs to be sent to Nepal so that my parents can go get NRB's permission letter to make a money order?
