Donno what to say......I went to KTM last month after 6-7 years and was surprised to see roads in KTM. Traffic has really become bad and moreover Pollution is unbearable. Its disgusting and frustating when you travel in KTM from one place to other. Seriously I think we need to have solutions for these things. I can see high rise Towers in KTM where people have spent millions of dollars but roads are pathetic.....Ringroad is even more pathetic...Seriously for these reason I don't feel like going to back home pretty soon...

The roads were built to drive carriage and chariot for RANA regime and Shah Dynasty. No one has had vision for long term.
We have given values for land and gold more than any thing and our culture is to expand your land even it does not belongs to you  and ROAD are easy targets. We are corrupt and no civic sense at all. So what to expect with these mentality we have inherited.

  One mayor tried to expand the road was successful partially but could not do it. I do not  think there will be another mayor will have that guts to do and land owner will sacrifice their  land rather they will be happy with it as it is. The street hawker has captured 2/3 of the footpath and it is their rights and can not be removed it will be politicized.
