Ok, I know most of you will find this topic offensive. Frequently, we hear deaths of many Nepali students/families in US now.  Well, why don't we purchase health insurance?  If you can't afford it, it's understandable.  But let's not forget, most families can afford it. They handsomly send money to their families in Nepal and spend much more money in beer.

Why don't these community colleges provide health insurance including repatriation and roll the charges in tuition bill?  Seriously, Nepali students make $100K cash by stealing from gas station (many come to brag their stealing strategies in Sajha), yet, they don't purchase insurance which barely costs pennies in comparision to what they usually spend for beer.  Sounds harsh but it's a brutal reality.

If you don't want your name to be seen for fund raising drive, please purchase insurance.

Kind of agree with nagarikreport. This is something to be preached in the orientation classes for Nepali students.

Agreed. If you are a student it cost you about 3 to 5 dollars a day which I don't think is a lot.
