Hey guys, I am an F-2 dependent applying for TPS and EAD at the same time. So my question is, in EAD form question no 16 for Eligibility Category, what should i choose? Is it (a)(12) category or (c)(19)? Thanks in advance.

Another F-2 applicant here. I put (c)(19) and from what people have discussed here, either is fine, but (c)(19) seems to be the correct category for those applying TPS for the first time. I think if you put (c)(19), USCIS processes your I-821 first, and then processes I-765. And if you put (a)(12), they process I-765 first (i.e. EAD gets issued first), and then I-821 is processed.

I put (a)(12) and I have already received my EAD. However I am still waiting on my TPS approval though
