I am a recent graduate in Electrical Engineering with no work experience and it's hard to land a job. It's already been 3 months n i dont want to prolong this period over  6 months doing nothing except applying. I came across one consultancy willing to provide me one month online training in the areas of application packaging which i believe more of MS installer, mass deployment of software. Before jumping into it i want to hear from you guys who already have experienced or currently in the field about how consultancy works, it's pros and cons. I don't need sponsorship and I' m in dillemma whether or not to go for it. What you guys say about joining them and in the mean time keep applying for my own engineering job. 

I also want to hear from those who has experience with application packaging about the chances to grow in this field.

I understand the fact that to land a job in the related field that complies with your education, degree, and experiences is the best that one could have but living with this uncertainity not knowing  for how long is equally frustrating as money, time also matters at some point to some extent.

Any comments would be appreciated unless it's cheap and vulgar.
